Wi-Fi Connectivity (first time)

  1. Search for available Wi-Fi networks from a phone, tablet, or computer’s settings. Connect to the network which starts with “Redux-Xh-R.” Enter Redux123 as the password. You may get a “no internet access” notification — this is normal.
  2. While connected to the “Redux-Xh-R” Wi-Fi network, open a web browser and navigate to Reduxdry.net. Select “Connect to Wi-Fi”. Choose your Wi-Fi network. If it’s not listed, refresh until it appears. Select security type, enter Wi-Fi password, click Save.
  3. The “Redux-Xh-R” network should disappear and your device should re-connect to the target Wi-Fi. If “Redux-Xh-R” re-appears, incorrect password was entered — repeat step 2.

Wi-Fi Reconnection

  1. Unplug the Redux system power cord, leave unplugged for 2 minutes (or more). Keep the lid closed.
  2. Plug power back in, wait for the flashing blue comms light to become solid blue (indicating Wi-Fi connection).
  3. Wait for the first vacuum pull to complete (the “drying” light will flash while the chamber is conditioning). Once the “drying” light is off, press “Open” to release vacuum. Then the system is ready. Don’t press “Start” until after this cycle completes.

Power or Vacuum Faults

Power fault (24 V DC, i2C “trip”, “fault”)
Unplug the system for 2 minutes, keep the lid closed. After reconnecting, wait for solid blue comms light, wait for first vacuum pull to complete, release vacuum by pressing “Open”, then system ready.

Vacuum failed to reach target

  1. Open the lid and ensure the aids are placed within the rectangular guide area (max two aids per cycle). If placed outside, adjust and retry.
  2. Unplug the system from the back, check the rubber gasket around the chamber is seated evenly. Clean gasket and lid interior using a towel dampened with warm water or alcohol prep pad. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. Plug the system back in after 2 minutes unplugged. Wait for first vacuum pull to complete (drying light flashes during). Once “drying” light is off, press “Open”. Then system ready. Do *not* press “Start” until after the vacuum pull calibration finishes.

Start Button Won’t Initiate Treatment

Upon power-on the system undergoes a vacuum pull and chamber calibration cycle (the “drying” light flashes). When this is active, the unit will not accept a “Start” command. Wait until the “drying” light is off and then press “Open” to release vacuum. After that the system is ready to begin treatment.
